My Experience of the Entrance Test, and Tips for the Candidates

Sadaf Naseer (KEMU 2006-11)

For me, entry test was more of a game of nerves than anything else....but i entry test does provide an opportunity to those students who haven't scored very well in F Sc. i think for good preparation, u should first identify ur strong points. u should know what are the subjects that need more time and what subjects u could do without much studying...we have all got strong points...some people have a tendency to score in bio others in physics and some in chem...so the subject u think is easy for u, leave it and concentrate on the rest.....

be careful about chemistry....marwanaye kay liye is saye dangerous aur koi nahin....in physics i think u should revise the derivations as well...kabhi kabhi aisa numerical a jata hai jo aap ko kisi aise formula saye krna parta hai jo hum usually yad nahin krtaye...so if u know the derivations u could make your own formula at the moment....plus agar formula bhool jaye to bhi derive kiya ja sakta hai...

in bio pay special attention to glossary at the end and statements under diagrams....
learn to divide the time between sections....like decide before hand that u could give 40 min to physics 30 to chem etc....
during the test keep a control on ur nerves... confuse nahin hona...if u can't solve a question leave it...at the end time mila to solve kr lena...try to cut a few optins..if u don't know the exact answer but are almost sure that other 3 are wrong its better to attempt it...nahin attempt krnaye pr 5 to ja hi rahe tahye galat attemp krnaye pr kt-ta to aik hi extra number hai but tukka lag gaya to 5 mil bhi jate hai...

try to attempt all questions... negative marking doesn't make a big difference....

just concentrate on your books no need to consult any guides..

I hope my suggestions would benefit at least a few...
