The TSD is a non-political group of students which was established in 2004 to help students in their studies by providing them study aids in different formats. Our aims include helping students, doctors, and the poor and needy patients as far as the situation permits.

There is no specific criteria for memberships. Anyone willing to help others voluntarily is welcome !

history

It all started when the in May 2002... Two creative minds met by chance in the darkness and smell of the anatomy dissection halls. It was a hot summer day... Salman Kazmi saw Naeem Majeed sitting lonely with BD in his hand... Kazmi came up to him and greeted him. Then they sat together for an hour, discussing the pathetic conditions of  the students at KE, and decided to setup a small group comprising of honest and helpful colleagues... who would try their best to help their fellow colleagues and facilitate them in every possible manner... They chalked out the basic framework of the mini-organization and parted each other with hopes for the success of their group. Days passed by, first the promotional examination, and then the terrible 1st prof. The idea of an organization remained forgotten. And then came our third year at KEMC... Kazmi once again brought up the idea of organization, which was then constituted in the true sense, with Naeem Majeed, Salman Kazmi and Mustafa Mumtaz as the executive members, and Usman Shams, Tipu Rishi, Yasir Bajwa, Sikander Aziz and Khalid Idrees as the earliest members. 

 Aims and Objectives

The aims and objectives of the TSDs remain the same as they were on the day the foundation stone was laid by Naeem and Salman in 2002 i.e. to help the students (be they seniors, colleagues or juniors) in their academic problems and routine college life, provide financial aids to the poor patients as far as possible with our limited resources, and to act in a way so as to bring glory to our institutes.

Our first step was to run a campaign for college bus facility for students who came from different areas of Lahore... It was a hectic task to convince the concerned authorities... and when they were convinced, the agreement was about to be finalized, the students refused to accept the service at the cost offered by the service providers... and so the project flopped... not depressed by this, the TSDocs continued to help their colleagues and juniors by all possible means...

As the days passed, TSDocs execs came up with new and innovative ideas... which led to our commendable work in Pathology Department... in the words of Prof. I A Naveed 'as long as you are working for the purpose of education, I'm with you'...

Many of our respected teachers supported us in our activities... some praised our efforts, and some offered their services to us...

Currently, TSDocs are the most respected group at KEMU... working for the seniors and juniors alike... as they say 'Helping to seek highness...'

With ceaseless efforts, vim and enthusiasm, the TSDocs have attained their present stature.
